I am currently in Barcelona.
I have two devices that I purchased 4–5 years ago for two different locations, and both of them worked well in the past. I had not used them for a long time, and now I am having problems with both. I am trying to reset them in the same location, in the same house.
Device no. 1
I have restarted it several times using the reset button. I follow the whole procedure:
- Push the ON/OFF button next to the charger connector for 5 seconds until the LED turns off. This switches the board off.
- Wait for 30 seconds to make sure all internal capacitors are fully discharged.
- At this point, a hard reset has been completed and we can be sure of the board’s initial state.
- Press the ON/OFF button. The LED will initially be white and then, most likely, blue.
- Press the ON/OFF button again. The LED will turn red. This is setup mode, so we are ready.
I enter my Wi-Fi network and password. I can see the device’s Wi-Fi signal on my phone, but it does not go any further than that. The map that should appear never shows up.
Device no. 2
I follow exactly the same process, and the map does not appear either.
I am a bit confused because I think I may have two Smart Citizen accounts:
- Inma_julian , which was located in Castell d’Aro
- Julius2 , which was located in Barcelona
I would also like to know if there is any way to purchase both an indoor enclosure and an outdoor enclosure for the devices.
If you could give me a hand with this, it would be perfect.
