Gaps in data when downloading the Excel

Hello all,

I am using the SCK V2.3 attached to my bicycle to record air pollution exposure of a cyclist. My problem is that after cycling, I download my excel data sheet and for some reason there are huge gaps in the recorded information. In between my time trials, I do not switch the machine on or off, it simply switches from recording data every 5 seconds to recording data every 5 minutes. Attached is a screenshot of the raw data in my excel sheet:

It seems to vary with publishing data from every 5 seconds, to 5 minutes without any physical changes from me. One idea I think could be from the vibrations of cycling, especially on bumpy roads. How do I fix this? I want the data to constantly be collected every 5 seconds for consistency in my research. Has anyone else encountered this issue before?

Dear ciara.moore4, I don’t have this issue as I am quite new on this platform. How is your SCK collecting data: off-line while biking, until you get back and connect to the internet or connected to your phone('s wifi) while biking?
One thing I can think of is that in the latter case your phone looses connection and therefor also the SCK.

hello! I have it connected to my phone’s hotspot (wifi) while biking. I am cycling in a downtown public area where there should never be a disconnection from service. Regardless I feel like it should reconnect and publish all my data at the end of the day or when I arrive home and the SCK connects then to my house wifi? I guess I could try using the monitor without the hotspot and see if the gaps disappear
