Looking st the uptime chart, something happened on that day? Since then cannot upload. The sensors fail attempting to upload. Did something change and new firmware is needed?
Hi @dixon1e
That’s strange! There was a bit of downtime on April 8th because of a failure on our server, but it shouldn’t have affected data upload. Other sensors are online in other locations. However, it’s true that is really strange that it coincided with the downtime and that all your sensors to have “stopped” at the same time.
Do you have access to them and can you take a look in the shell?
https://docs.smartcitizen.me/guides/getting-started/using-the-shell/
I did get into the shell, all it is doing is trying to send the MQTT packet. It fails. I haven’t gone back to look at it again, is there a place to see if there is a specific error message?
Hi @dixon1e
If packets don’t make it to the platform, on our end there is no place for checking the errors.
The same output displayed on the shell is stored in the ERROR.txt
file on the sd-card.
If you have access to one kit, can you let us know about the output of the commands:
mqttsrv
ntpsrv
These should be mqtt.smartcitizen.me
with 1883
and ntp.smartcitizen.me
with 80
.
I would manually reset the kit as well. Finally, if nothing of this helps, can you let us know what firmware version you are using?
Best
