The kit starts rapidly blinking pink less than one minute after connecting

We used the SD card approach for collecting data from the kit. Once we clicked ‘Start Logging’, the kit LED faded to pink for the first 30 seconds or so, and then started rapidly blinking in pink afterwards. We checked the data on the SD card one minute later, and it said it had recorded once. We used a personal SD card that already has many other files and currently has available storage of 19.47 GB out of the original 64 GB. Do we need to use a new SD card, or is it an SD card-to-kit issue?

Moreover, the record didn’t show a time. Is there a way to calibrate every how often it records data?

Hi @jgsargado

It’d be great to see some logs on the Shell for this.

We do not recommend using a SD card that has data in it, as sometimes the SD cards are a bit of a trap and different OSes leave things in them. I’d suggest using an empty (formatted) one if possible.

Regarding how often data is captured: of course. You can do that on the shell as well, this time: Using the Shell - Smart Citizen Docs
